imster 319 Posted March 14, 2018 sticking to old school! I like it I think you should go with the same shine as your lotus paintjob, it would suit this perfectly!
Rob 35 Posted March 18, 2018 (edited) Thanks! I thinks that those old cars have more "soul" than there modern counterparts, same with the F1 cars, love the 60/70 cars more than the new one's. But this is a endless discusion. We got some color! That was yesterday, today we have a roller and some shine on it. The wooden decal are a real pain in the ***, 10/15 min soak in water and it still goes of difficulty. not easy to fold it on the dash and door's. tear easy. The tyrres are sanded in the meantime. The color is sea blue and the clearcoat is diamond 2K both from Zero paints. The interrior and engine is Tamiya paint and flokking from the scalemodeler. Edited March 18, 2018 by Rob Remove pictures. Rob 35 Posted April 18, 2018 Finisht! @imster, tough about it, but to late!. The kit is a dream exept for the windshield and the rear window, they are so small, you got 1 a 2 mil to glue. the original trimline is not sticky anymore, so bmf or spray it. the chrome wheels are the best i ever seen. I made 2 little misstakes whit the superglue, it's a little thick, so i got 2 little threads of glue over the bodyshell. in time i try to polish it, for now i leave it.
