Kawasaki KR1000F Endurance Tamiya1/12

Recommended Posts

Hi guys
Then I also want to start a small WIP and that to the Kawasaki KR1000F
The kit is already finished (2017), but I wanted to show it to you anyway.
I hope that's alright for you?
Is a kit from the 80s with homemade, I hope you enjoy it.

And sorry for my bad English.

I started with the Bling Bling Chrome Fork.....

This is really fantastic stuff @mueller!!! You have a lathe and milling machine? Your weld lines look awesome too, do you use putty to make them?

Hi Guys
Yes imster
A mini lathe and mini milling machine
(the milling what self-assembled )
The weld is made of milliput and the weld is pressed into shape with a diagonally cut tube
Has google translated here understandably?
Otherwise, I will submit a picture.

With the chain I try the MFH kit

The translation is fine Mueller :)

That sprocket looks superb! Did you print it on the plastic then cut it? Some fantastic techniques and skills my friend!

Have I ever seen in a forum .
should I put you the link?

If you look in Racers 11: Kawasaki Z Racer Part 1, you can see that the machine mostly on Campagnolo rims.
I have taken from the leftover box of an old Ducati 2 rims.
You just have to adjust a bit, because the hubs are narrower in width.

But the tires have the same width and height.

Under the tape is a metal piece, I want to moor the panel with a magnet on the exhaust.

The upper arrow was previously the recording of the disguise ........ I slept there
lower arrow, the magnet

Hy Guys
Well, the Wip is coming to an end .
The shown Kawasaki was driven by a French team.
And in Racers was a picture on which was a headlight yellow, rather just the lamp not the reflector.
I wanted to try that.

I really enjoyed reading this WIP, your solution to the yellow light looks great and your skills with producing parts makes this build just that much more better, I also appreciate how you went through the mistakes that were made, great reference for others who wish to build this kit and try to create similar to what you have made
