  1. Hi Guys.....it's been a while.... Anyways. presenting my comeback kit......
  2. Thanks, @Maximum warp I am trying to depict an Abrams which saw active service in the desert(hence the slightly heavy weathering on the main body) but just received a new pair of side skirts (less weathered)
  3. Hi guys...sorry for being "missing" for so long......been busy having a new daughter in the family..... But, without further adieu......
  4. Not yet.....just the shading from the color modulation. ..
  5. Good start....will follow this thread. ...
  6. Sorry for the quality of pics.....here are better ones (i hope)
  7. Hi all...sorry was away for the Eid holidays... Finally had time to do this..... P.s sorry abt the picture quality, tho...
  8. @MarcoMoto yup bro.....you can do that too....but i wanna depict as if the car just came out from a puddle of fresh mud.....
  9. Almost there......time to get down and dirty.....
  10. thanks @MarcoMoto we still have to learn as much as we can from each other......
  11. @Schumi its flourescent red from mr.color, number 171. @imster i think the front nose of the cowl is slightly offsize...but thats purely my opinion.... @ash & @Maximum warp thanks guys.....its fiddly as u have to spend more time on sanding to get the correct and aligned fit.....
  12. nice chippings........well done!!!!
  13. Next up....oil color discoloration or fading on the upper turret using mig production oils (white, buff, earth).... Too tired so i will continue the oil fading on the rest of the kit tomorrow......
  14. Fit issues quite good for a transkit model, Imran.... Altho the white decals are a bit translucent......
  15. As this is my first time trying out modulation, i actually based my work on Mig Jimenez faq 2 book.......
  16. This was completed earlier in the year........ Base model was a transkit from japan.....
  17. And lastly i used AV panzer grey wash for pin washing....i prefer this as this is enamel based, so i can slowly work on my pin washing.....
  18. After the satin varnish fully cured (abt 24hrs) i apply layers of blue filters to make the panzer color less obvious and add in a blue effect colour for the panzer.... I used Sin filter's panzer grey filter to blend in the panzer grey.....
  19. This set comes with abt 4 shades of panzer grey, primer and satin varnish.... The results are in the first few pictures that i post....
